Jonathan W. Nightingale

Jonathan W. Nightingale grew up in San Mateo and attended UC Santa Barbara. He began his legal career as an undergraduate intern for California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. (CRLA), where he assisted indigent clients in the areas of housing, education and healthcare. After he finished his undergraduate studies, Jonathan worked as a Legislative Assistant for a Congressman in Washington D.C. before attending law school.

While attending law school, Jonathan developed his family, wealth, and property law skills. He held internships with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Child & Family Services Team, and the San Mateo County Superior Court’s Family Law Facilitator’s Office, where he assisted self-represented litigants in family law matters.
It was also during Jonathan’s time in law school that he worked as a legal assistant for a Trust and Estate attorney in San Francisco, and where he continued to work after becoming an attorney in 2016. In 2017, Jonathan opened Nightingale Legal to expand his services. There he handled a wide variety of transactional and litigation matters in the areas of Trusts & Estates, Business, Real Estate, and Family Law.
